MINING REFERENCES
ESP. HISTORY
( Bibliography by State and Topics )
A comprehensive Australian bibliography for this field was first compiled by Peter Donovan & Associates in 1995, named "A Mining History of Australia", under the 1990-91 National Estate Grants Program. It has since been continued by the Australian Mining History Association (AMHA). Australian (general) and NSW portions are below. The portions for the other states may be found at AMHA website:
Each section is sub-divided into a General, Minerals, Energy Sources (coal, petroleum products, uranium); Gemstones or Precious Stones; and other aspects (social/economic history, equipment and structures, processes, people and organisations, heritage surveys and archaeology).
